Re: Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with RSAP? SM-T715

My Nexus 7 LTE finally gave up the ghost COMPLETELY.... and sadly I can now confirm that the stock version of the last revision of the Tab S2 (SM-T719) does NOT support RSAP. It's almost certainly the best compact tablet on the market at present, despite being 2-3yrs old, but that just tells you the...

Re: has anybody tried the LG G5?

I can confirm my LG G5 work out of the box! How well does it work? Looking for a phone to replace my S5 Mini (rSAP broke with Lollipop), so keen in impressions. Regards, J On my 2012 Audi A6's MMI Plus, it works flawlessly. No excessive Bluetooth battery drain, car goes online in seconds and stays ...

has anybody tried the LG G5?

keen to know if this will work with rSAP?

Snapdragon 820, so should be good performance.

Looking at the rest of the spec, it looks like it's a bit of a beast, I just wish it was a little more compact!

tip: auto-enabling Bluetooth as you start the car

I assume most of us are using rSAP because our cars support things like Google traffic updates and online services, but if you're like me, you'd prefer to leave Bluetooth off the rest of the time to conserve battery, but would prefer if you didn't have to setup an NFC tag / manually switch back on e...

Re: Galaxy S4 not supported by my rSAP app - now supported!

If anybody still has concerns about this, I've successfully tested stock JellyBean and KitKat varients of Samasung's stock TouchWiz ROM working on the Qualcomm release of the Galaxy S4 (GT-i9505, aka S4 International / JFLTEXXX), plus CyanogenMod 12.1 and now the Marshmallow Cyanogenmod 13 nightly r...

Re: Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with RSAP? SM-T715

I'm just amazed that nobody has tried this - especially given Samsung's historical out-the-box support of RSAP.

Re: CM12.1 Nightly builds?

Sorry about the 4 week delay, but just to confirm: the "invalid mount point" issue was definitely SuperSU being stuck in a state of needing a binary update (but never actually popping up and saying it needed an update until I launched it directly). Fixed SuperSU (downloaded it to the SD card and app...

Re: CM12.1 Nightly builds?

Good call by the way: looks like SuperSU needed an update (to be run as a .zip install in TWRP)... Previously, it was launching the installer, but just failing as per the error message above. This time, I checked and all the Root-app profiles were missing, so when I ran the installer it asked me to ...

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with RSAP? SM-T715

Hi, I'm looking to replace my Nexus 7 LTE at some stage and thought that the 8.0 version of the Galaxy Tab S2 might be a good way of getting a new tablet AND giving me an out-the-box way of connecting my car - and using the unlimited data on that SIM too :) Has anybody tried this? My tablet can NOT ...
