Re: Req for an actual custom recovery software installable zip

The arrow for opening the option may be invisible... Try to touch somewhere below the "Uninstall" button.

Although I must confess that on recent phones (e.g. Samsung S9) the recovery installation no longer seems to work and I have no idea why

Re: Test for Samsung Duos (S9, S10)

It works on the old generation VW Premiums and on most other rSAP hardware, but not on the new VW phones like Discover Pro. See http://www.android-rsap.com/compatibili ... #Bluetooth

So far I don't even understand how the Bluetooth stack in Android 8+ works, so it may take a while :?

Re: Test for Samsung Duos (S9, S10)

That's the known problem with the Bluetooth profile, see http://www.android-rsap.com/compatibility.html.

Maybe I try to hack it once more although this may break with every system update...

I'm asking where I can find final application which is exposing RSAP service via bluetooth.
Please use this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... etoothRSAP

Re: Test for Samsung Duos (S9, S10)

I am interested because I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, powered by the Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 (China variant) My app is for Exynos, I don't know if it will work on Qualcomm variant. It surely needs root, and I remember I heard that the Qualcomm devices cannot be rooted, but I may be wrong.

Let me know when you have some version for testing.
Could you already test the updated installer?

Re: Test for Samsung Duos (S9, S10)

I hope so... So far I don't know what happens. And I hope that a fix will also work for the S10.

Re: Test for Samsung Duos (S9, S10)

Then it looks like the installer app picks the right library, but for some reason my library crashes...

I tested the S9 with Android 8.0, maybe there is some problem with 9.0? I'll try...

Update: It does not work with Android 9.0.

Re: Test for Samsung Duos (S9, S10)

Can you please check where the libsec-ril.so is located on your S10: /system/lib64/libsec-ril.so or /system/vendor/lib64/libsec-ril.so? Or only /vendor/lib64/libsec-ril.so?
