Re: rSAP working with Nexus 4 (at last!) and some alternativ

When you upgrade to a V4 SAP module you will certainly get the functionality to access the contacts from phone memory. Additionally it may be possible that your Three network may work. The V4 SAP module allows 3G UMTS connections. And as far as I know the problem with Three is that they only use 3G ...

Re: rSAP working with Nexus 4 (at last!) and some alternativ

It can't access your contacts stored on your phone memory, it can only read contacts that are stored on the SIM. You have an old rSAP bluetooth adapter in your car. I guess yours is even the original V1. And that is the reason why you only have access to the contacts on the SIM. This is not a restr...

SW Update dated 14.4.2014 available for SAP V4 module

I have looked at http://www.mercedes-benz.com/connect to check if there is a new SW version for my SAP V4 module available. And indeed there is. I have downloaded the file TP48040113.zip and this contains a SW version from 14.4.2014. The previous file which I have downloaded last year was TP48040090...

Re: Full SIM access with Nexus 5 and Mercedes SAP v4?

I have a SAP V4 module but with COMAND Online. And I have seen both 2G and 3G connections. The SAP V4 module even changed from 2G to 3G and vice-versa if there is 3G available or not. Example: I started the car in a closed area (parking space two floors below ground level) and the display showed 2G....

Re: Mercedes Audio 50 - Samsung S4 Mini - RSAP?

I guess your only valid options are 1. or 2.and half :) I don't believe option 2. will ever be available. Given the fact that new phones are emerging on a weekly basis Mercedes will problably not invest in any new phone specific cradles. If they make a cradle the phone will already be old when the n...

Re: Mercedes Audio 50 - Samsung S4 Mini - RSAP?

As far as I know the E66 cradle supports Bluetooth Handsfree Profile only. It is not rSAP compatible. It may work only with a Nokia E66. So, basically using BT Handsfree it may work with a Samsung S4 mini. But it is possible that it is not compatible. A Nokia E66 supports rSAP out of the box. But rS...

Want to install rSAP to XT897

Hello,

Since I have confirmed that rSAP is compatible with my Motorola Photon Q (XT897) I would like to install it.
But Google Play Store says it is not compatible.
Can you please change that?

Thanks.

Re: rSAP on Qualcomm powered phones

I have now tested two other Qualcomm powered phones: Motorola Photon Q (XT897) Samsung Stratosphere II (SCH-i415) Both use the CPU/Chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 which is also used in the Motorola Razr HD. And the result is: It works! :D I could successfully install the rSAP installer. And t...

Re: rSAP on Qualcomm powered phones

It looks like there are many different Qualcomm powered phones out there. I have a Motorola Pro+ MB632 phone which has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM8255 CPU. The file /system/lib/libril-qc-qmi-1.so is present. And I could successfully install the rSAP installer app. But when I start rSAP Trial V2.4 i...
