Re: HTC One (M8)

Has anyone with an unlocked HTC One (M8) tested the new Android 5.0 build (1.14.2015) to see if RSAP is still present? http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-one-m8/news/ I am finding my Nexus 5 unreliable with the old radio firmware under the newer versions of Android and am thinking of changing phone,...

Re: HTC One (M8)

Does anyone know if the 4.4.4 update for the M8 broke the native bluetooth rsap support?

UPDATE: I updated and it works just like 4.4.3

Re: HTC One (M8)

Another strange behaviour is that the phone doesn't always automatically connect to my car when I put ignition on. I think it has something to do with the power saver mode on. And I saw that the phone takes a while to connect. With Samsung's native rsap it was way faster.

Re: HTC One (M8)

Just updated my HTC One M8x (Taiwan version) yesterday to 2.22.709.4 and yes, the rsap works ok, but I cannot copy contacts from phone memory to my car. And there's no PIN request at the end of connection because I disabled PIN. I think that HTC enabled rsap by mistake and won't be supported in futu...

Re: HTC One (M8)

Hi all! HTC has released an update for the HTC One M8 and it provide "Mirror Link" functionnality. And surprisingly, rSAP is now natively supported! The only different thing with the Android rSAP application is when the car kit release the SIM card, the smartphone ask for the PIN code. Hello, Can y...

Re: Android 4.3 Galaxy S3 I9300XXUGML2

Let me add that I just upgraded the bluetooth module in my car from the original 2009 novero 5N0035730 B to the new novero 3C8035730 D and everything works again: RSAP now connects flawlessly and the less interesting hands-free connection mode that this new modules also provide also works. Maybe Sa...

Hello.
I tested your app and it works ok.
The major downside is that it requires root access.

Re: Android 4.3 Galaxy S3 I9300XXUGML2

Yes, this happens with the built-in Samsung rSAP. The funny thing is that the standard rSAP works only if there are no bluetooth profiles defined on my car. But after creating a profile and disconnecting it fails to reconnect automatically. To make it work again I must connect with an old nokia and ...
