Re: Disconnect feature

I can switch off Bluetooth, too. Only my car does not reconnect automatically after such a rude disconnect... Need to buy yourself a Merc then! :D Seriously I leave bluetooth on 24/7 unless I want to check emails or access the internet while in the car. This way rSAP connects as soon as I start the...

Re: Disconnect feature

It can on my HTC Desire! I do it all the time when I want to check my emails in the car. Edit: I was beginning to doubt myself. I have just tried it and I can definitely disconnect bluetooth from the phone when rSAP is connected. My bluetooth icon in the notification bar is not greyed out when rSAP ...

Re: Disconnect feature

Why not just turn off bluetooth on the phone? When the other person has finished with the phone turn bluetooth back on and it will reconnect. No need to stop the car!

Re: SMS storage

This is also an issue on the Mercedes SAP V2. While connected I get a message on the car "SMS received". The carkit however is not clever enough to read the message. When I disconnect I can't read the message directly as it is stored on the SIM not the phone. I have to go to "Manage SIM card message...

Re: SIM Phonebook features

How many of you cannot access the phone contacts because your car kit does not support Phone Book Access Protocol (PBAP)? I know that Opel does not support PBAP in rSAP mode. I could add a feature to simulate the phone contacts as SIM contacts. Please comment here if you'd like to see this feature ...

Mercedes-Benz SAP V2

Background When I bought my Mercedes I specified the SAP telephone module (at great expense!) as I was led to believe that I would have far better mobile reception. What they didn't tell me was that I would have to change my phone to a Nokia! Until a few days ago I have been using a separate SIM in...

Update 4 system files

My HTC Desire (Cyanogen 7.0.3) did not always revert to normal operation after disconnecting from the carkit. The new system files, although for the HD and Z, appear to have fixed this problem.

Re: Welcome

Well done. I was just about to change my HTC Desire for a Nokia as the Desire isn't (or wasn't) rSAP compatible. My Mercedes has the V2 SAP module and after discovering your program all appears to be working well.

Thanks and keep up the good work. I have just bought the "paid for" version.

Re: Best Phone

Hi,

I also have the Mercedes V2 SAP module. My HTC Desire running Cyanogenmod v7 is working perfectly. It is working so well I have just bought the paid version.
