Re: MOTO X compatibility?

PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure I've heard it mentioned that there were some licence issues around manufacturers who sold hardware that had RSAP support. Extrapolating from that, I always though that RSAP was intentionally disabled so the manufacturers didn't have to pay (Nokia?) a RSAP...

CM12.1 Nightly builds?

Is CM12.1 supported at all? I upgraded from CM11 to CM12.1 about 6 weeks ago using a recommended late July Nightly build. I'm sure I tested that build and it was fine, but since then I've had an "invalid mount point" error when I try to run the installer post upgrade. I'm installing a new Nightly no...

Moto G out the box SAP support?

Has anybody tried the Moto G WITHOUT the rSAP for Android App? i.e. is rSAP supported out the box? I don't mind the idea of rooting my phone and hacking it in (I'd prefer a rooted phone), but more important than root is native rSAP support, so I'd like to know if this is supported out the box as it ...

It sounds like you might have bought a non-subscription (pay as you go) phone, but it's still locked to the old network...

Re: Samsung Galaxy S4

I'd be VERY surprised if Samsung didn't continue to support rSAP properly with the S4: the S2 and S3 both work flawlessly, even with my Uber-picky combo of 2012 Audi MMI with Bluetooth high.... That said, I'm holding out for the S4 mini ( GT-I9195 ) as that is due to support rSAP fully and has more ...

Re: HTC One X PLUS

I'm holding out for the Samsung S4 Mini... I'm using an SGS2 out the box right now without a problem and I'll root it and put CM10.0 on it once I find a ported ROM...

S4 mini definitely supports it....

Re: Important installation notes

I'm currently running stock 4.0.4 and rSAP works out the box.

ICS is okay, but Samsung have loaded it with a lot of junk: I'd LOVE to get something lighter like JB (CM10 is fine).

Re: Important installation notes

What is THE most stable and reliable CM ROM to use for an SGS2 and rSAP (on Audi MMI)?

Re: list of phones with native rSAP support

Bear in mind, my replies are skewed by my very fussy Audi MMI... Blackberry 9360 and 9900 Bold are flakey, but do seem to think they should work - probably just the picky Audi software. All Symbian (old) Nokias work like a dream (e.g. X3-02), hours on end of stable, 3G maps, traffic updates, wifi ho...
