NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.3-CM9 V1.5

Post by teddybt » Tue Apr 17, 2012 9:15 pm

Hi,

currently I'm running a ICS rom on my HD2 (NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.3-CM9 V1.5 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=1434860)

When I try to connect the phone with the RNS510 premium, it says no phone found.
It seems as if the Phone is not discoverable.
Pairing with a bluetooth headset, where the connection is initiated from the phone, is working.

In the Radio Log I found:
04-12 17:53:09.162 I/RILSAP ( 1689): Create socket /dev/socket/rsap
04-12 17:53:09.162 E/RILSAP ( 1689): error bind failed
04-12 17:53:09.162 I/RILSAP ( 1689): -> socket failed!
thanks in advance

Those messages are Ok, but they should stop when the rSAP app starts. Can you please create a "HCI" log of a pairing attempt? Please start the log before you power up the car. Did you have the phone successfully connected before?

Hi,

with other ROM's I was able to connect.

I'll try to deliver some more Logs.
What is the best way to test?
1. enable Bluetooth
2. open rsap App
3. power on car
4. search for phone
?

It looks like you set the phone discoverable for 30 seconds but no other device tries to connect.
Do you have some other Bluetooth device to try pairing with? E.g. another phone?

Did you search from PC or from phone?
Can you pair a different phone with the car?

There must be something wrong with your phone or with this ROM. Pairing and basic communication setup is done deep inside Android/Linux. Did you try a different ROM, probably pre-ICS?

@bggeihs: Can you send me a HCI log of the pairing attempt?

HCI LOG

Do you know an Android version 4 for the HD2 that works?
