Can't enter authorisation code on phone

Post by sam_the_man » Fri Jul 15, 2011 5:19 pm

Hallo

I have a HTC wildfire with android 2.1 that is rooted.

I have installed rSAP but I can't connect the car to the phone.

When I go to search , the phone is found and I receive the following message:

Verbindung wird hergestellt
passwort engeben

The problem is that the password is only shown for about 5 seconds and I can't enter the password in the
phone in such a short time. The car then sais:

anmeldung nicht erfolgreich

What could the problem be ?
I have attached the logs
When I start rSAP, it sais: SDP Record nicht gefixt

This is the log:

Did you have a different phone with the same SIM card connected to the car? That seems to confuse the car kit sometimes. Please try to remove all pairing information of the previous phone.

Hallo

There is no menu in the VW Premium Freisprecheinrichtung that allows me to remove the pairing information (or I have not found it ).
I tried using an other SIM-Card, but I still have the same problem.
Do you have another hint ?

If you have a custom recovery on your phone (ClockworkMod, Amon Ra) I suggest you backup your ROM and try CyanogenMod. With the backup you can exactly restore your current phone state so you will not loose anything. When you use ROM Manager backup and flashing is easy to do.

If you have the same problem with CyanogenMod you are at least able to create a HCI log. Perhaps I can find out why the pairing does not work as expected.

OK, i will try that.

I just noticed that I don't have busybox installed on my phone.
I just tried installing busybox with the rSAP installation app, but when I click on open busybox,
I receive following error message: "Es wurde kein Treffer im Android Markt für folgende Suche gefunden: pname:stericsonl.busybox". Could this be the reason, that I can't pair the phone ?

Busybox will most probably not help with your problem but it does not hurt to install it. If the button in the installer app does not work simply search for "Busybox" in Android Market. Choose the app by "Stericson".

Hallo
I installed CyanogenMod ROM. With the CyanogenMod ROM, finaly rSAP works !
After successfuly using rSAP with CyanogenMod , I tried again with the original HTC rom, but it doesn't work.
Could it be that the HTC original ROM is not supported ?

I only know that HTC uses a different Bluetooth stack. But this is also true for the Desire and other HTC phones and they work with the stock HTC ROM. So I don't know if it is a general problem.

Does anyone have rSAP running with stock HTC ROM?

Hi, the behaviour of my HTC Desire S is similar as the one described. Basically the pairing worked (pairing code only to be entered once as long as pairing info is kept on HTC) but the login of the car kit (Mercedes SAP) ON the SIN doesn't. rAsped also says "sdp record not fixed"). Haven't tried Cyanogenmod yet as no version is available for the desire S model (yet?!)...
