Problem with -Press the power button until the shutdown menu appears, choose Reboot and then Recovery.
I do not have Reboot and Recovery.

Hi,

it seems not all ROMs offer the reboot options. Can you try to use ROM Manager (available in Android Market) to install the system files? That's a lot easier than rebooting to recovery and doing all the steps manually.

HTC Wildfire (not Wildfire S?) can be rooted with http://unrevoked.com/. I guess there may be other ways but that's what I used to root my Desire.

Just got this from XDADevelopers,Unrevoked does NOT root the Wildfire on Official 2.2.1, and, there's no ETA on when the new version will be released.
Any other ways ?

Checked again, it seems you are right. Cannot be rooted. You'll have to wait until someone succeeds.

I succeed in rooting my device, i am now S Off;
I install Rsap install then Rsap trial, but I still have a problem : SDP record not fixed.

The htc wildfire is paired wit the audi MMI but after the first call, the sim card is disconnected. I must re enter the sim code and after this I get andoid frame closed ... so I need to restart the device (soft reset).

Can someone help me with this issue?

Thanks,

GB
