Oppo Find 5

Post by tomaten » Mon Aug 19, 2013 6:49 pm

Hello.

How about the support of Oppo Find 5. The first firmware release in March had rudimentary rSAP support, but since the next version is no longer supported. It is a Qualcomm driven phone.

The Installation was finished without any question about the installation type, but it does not work. Where I have to send the log?

This looks like there already is an rSAP service running ("Address already in use"). maybe it's the same architecture as the Xiaomi. You may try the plugin from there: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=994

It is the MIUI ROM for Find 5. ;) But with the Oppo Stock ROM I get the same result.

This solution works very fine with the Oppo Find 5 and the MIUI ROM. Next week I try this with the new Oppo Color ROM, because the Oppo ROMs are very similar to MIUI.

It works? Nice 8-)
I guess I should create a better solution for these phones. Currently you have to remember to switch off/on my rSAP service once after a boot which is annoying.

BTW: what car phone is this screen shot from? Opel?

I tried 3 Oppo ROMs:

1. MIUI - Plugin needed - works
2. "old" Oppo Stock - Plugin needed - works
3. "new" Color ROM - works (no plugin needed)

Can you please check if this 4.2 ROM has the /system/lib/hw/bluetooth.default.so? Or a /system/lib/bluez-plugin directory? Just curious...
