LG G4 and VW Tiguan - Composition Media infotainment System

Post by Jac. Scholtes » Thu Oct 29, 2015 10:11 pm

I am unable to connect my LG G4 to my VW composition media infotainment system.
It looks like my phone device is not rSAP compatible....? However VW offers mirrorlink and that is supported.

I would like to display my phone apps to my infotainment systems diplay, specially my navigation application....
Who is able to help and has any experience connecting a LG G4 (using Adroid v 5.1) or on installing an rSAP application on such a phone device?

Thank you in advance for all your comments/suggestions/support.

rSAP and Mirrorlink are completely different things.

The VW Tiguan configurator mentions "App Connect" which seems to work via USB, not Bluetooth. As far as I know Mirrorlink doesn't work on many phones, and for Android Auto you need the app from Play Store.

I know that mirrorlink is based on USB. However that seems to malfunction. Unable to get it running on my infotainment system.
That is why I'm trying to get this done via rSAP. Any suggestions on that topic?
