No RSAP on the Galaxy S Advance possible?

Post by BaresiSJ » Tue Jun 12, 2012 11:45 am

Hello,
since one week, I'm a proud owner of the new SAMSUNG Galaxy S Advance (GT-I9070).
I' tried several times to connect via the free RSAP App my car system (VW PASSAT CC -> Premium Phone), but wihtout success.
The phone is rooted, the installer worked without failures, the "Superuser" allows everything, but during the connection period, the App is stopped (crashed) always.
I guess, the phone denies the signalflow between both.

Does anybody of you have an idea, what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for your support!!

Please create a "main" and "radio" log of a connection attempt and send it to my email address.

Hi,

I have also the Samsung Galaxy S Advance and some Problems to connect it with my car (VW Passat with Premium Phone with rSAP-Profile).

The phone is rooted and on it is installed Bluetooth SIM Access Install, Bluetooth SIM Access (Trial for testing before buying these App), Superuser (all Apps allowed). The installations were done without failures.
The Bluetooth SIM Access is running and it´s possible to connect the phone via Bluetooth with the car. But when the car wants the Sim-Access on the Phone the App stopps with failure.

Can anybody help me what I have to do to get the phone running with the car?

Thanks

Sorry for my English, i´m not a native speaker ;)

Hello,

I´m trying to find the created log files, but unfortunately I´ts not possible to locate it on the phone.
Even the "search engine" of WINDOWS can`t find the needed log files.

Can anybody specify the exact location of the logfiles on the phone?

Thanks a lot!

The files are created in folder ".rsap" on the SD card. I don't know if the Galaxy S Advance also has an internal and an external card. If yes, it's most probably the internal card. Some file explorer apps do not show files/folder beginning with a dot, but if you connect the phone via USB you should see the folder. Or download "OI File Explorer" from Google Store.

Does not look very good... The phone does not work like the other I9xxx devices. There is a small chance that your problems are caused by your SIM card, but I don't have much hope.

Until someone proves the opposite I think the I9070 is not compatible. Sorry.

I don't know if it helps, but you may try the brand new Galaxy S III Mini version: viewtopic.php?f=51&t=603&start=40#p3764. Perhaps this also works with the Galaxy S Advance?

It looks like my app works on the I9070 after the update to Android 4!
