"Car Phone" not showing up on Nexus5/MMI+3g

Post by therippa » Sat May 03, 2014 3:21 am

Hey guys,

I've tried a bunch of times to connect my Nexus 5 to my 2013 S4 with MMI+, but I can't get it to show a profile other than "hands free". Did Audi turn this off in US market cars or something?

Also, for what it's worth, the Bluetooth State on the rSAP app never changes from "not connected", even when the car pairs in hands free mode... does that mean something is wrong with the app?

If the car does not establish an rSAP connection my app will not change it's state. Handsfree is completely separate from rSAP.

In Europe the rSAP capable car phone is an option, in recent models it's called "Audi connect". As far as I remember, in the UK it is called "Bluetooth High". But I don’t know about US cars.
