Android Wear connection

Post by Raven » Sat Jun 03, 2017 12:26 pm

Hi,

I have the problem that its not possible to have my Android wearable (smartwatch) and the rsap connection at the same time. Only one at the time is possible, but not both concurrently.
Is this a known issue?

Sorry, I have no idea if this is a restriction of Android or of the manufacturer of your phone or whatever. Maybe it's a different Bluetooth mode? But that's just guessing.

Is there an error message in my app or does it simply not connect to the car?

Your app just displays "Bluetooth error".
In the meantime i have figured out it's not Android Wear related only. Once i do a BT connection to any device the issue is present. A restart of the phone lets me temporarily fix the issue until the next BT connection to another device is made.
I have a Sony Xperia Z5 (android 7.0)

Do you have the "Android 7 hack" active?

The latest rSAP app has an option to activate the hack. With the hack activated the Bluetooth channel for rSAP is fixed (15) which may cause problems when some other app happens to already use that channel. Try to deactivate the option and reboot your phone.
