Can we have an actual custom recovery software installable zip version, please?
If I'm not mistaken there are two, but for Android 4.0 / 4.1 only!?
Background: I use rSAP with LineageOS 14.1 on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, but every time I update to the newest nightly the rSAP drivers are lost. To get it installed again I need another reboot which I'd like to avoid, as I'd like to install the drivers in one go with the LOS update via TWRP.
Thank you

You can create one with the installer app. Choose recovery installation and cancel the reboot.

OK thx! Got it and used during last update.
Re: Req for an actual custom recovery software installable z
FYI: Odd, your app / drivers worked with LOS 14.1.2 so far (at least no installation issues), but I now get the following error https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpo ... count=5354

Maybe it's the same problem as viewtopic.php?f=26&t=1855?
Re: Req for an actual custom recovery software installable zip
Just noticed that there's a new 3.1 installation version. Maybe I'm blind, but I can't find the "recovery installation" mode any longer...
Re: Req for an actual custom recovery software installable zip
The arrow for opening the option may be invisible... Try to touch somewhere below the "Uninstall" button.
Although I must confess that on recent phones (e.g. Samsung S9) the recovery installation no longer seems to work and I have no idea why

Re: Req for an actual custom recovery software installable zip
Hi,
lineageos 17.1, rsap installer 3.1:
- blindly tapping on the screen to reach the "install as recovery" (due to system being read-only): OK
- blindly tapping to reboot into twrp and installing something: OK
- starting rsap to see it is installed: FAIL (can not connect to SIM, "connection refused")
Any chance you can have a look at fixing this?
Bye,
Alexander.
