Socket connect error (Android 4.0.3)

Post by forcefreak » Wed Jan 11, 2012 11:20 am

I have a problem with rsap since I've installed Android 4.0.3 on my Desire S

When i start rsap V1.2 there is a "Socket connect error"

ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=1428046

Any idea?

Did you reinstall the system files with the installer app?

Yes i reinstalled the system files with "rsap installation".

Is there an incompatibility with Android 4.0.3?

I have it running on a Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus, so it is not a problem with Android 4. Can you please create a main and radio log and send it to my email (admin@...)?

Sorry, only answered to the mail...

It looks like it is a problem with Bluetooth in this specific ROM. See also http://bugs.unity.flemmard.net/issues/814. The system does not broadcast the Bluetooth status so the rSAP app does not see any need to initialite itself. Can you check if other Bluetooth services are working? Can you activate Bluetooth?

No there are no other services are working and i can activate bluetooth.
The issue in JIRA says nothing to me. Is this an SIM-access issue?
I really love this ROM and hope there is a workaround ... maybe soon.

It is a bug in one of the Bluetooth library functions. The next rSAP version 1.3 will use a different function.
