Nexus S 2.3.6 and Mercedes Bluetooth Craddle

Post by Mazar » Sun Oct 02, 2011 10:23 am

atm in my mercedes there is a docking station for old siemens mobile devices.
I'm about to replace the old station with a bluetooth craddle.

I'm not sure which one I shoud choose: Original Bluetooth v3 or Viseeo MB-3.

1.) Which alternative are you recommending?
2.) Are there any known issues left regarding Nexus S 2.3.6?

Kind regards Mazar

I can only talk about rSAP running on the Nexus S (mine has still 2.3.4). rSAP should run without problems. There are known issues with the phonebook transfer with the V2 (see viewtopic.php?f=24&t=16), but the Nexus S uses the open source phonebook access implementation, so it can be fixed.

I cannot tell you much about the differences between the two adapters, except that the ViseeO seems to use HFP and no rSAP.
