help

Post by zimbu » Sun Aug 21, 2011 1:26 pm

Upgraded to 2.3.4 KH3 kernel modem and csc then rooted. installed both the app installer and trial version and nothing. I really don't want to install a custom ROM due to their buggy nature. If you can make a it work in the configuration I just described I'd be interested in purchasing. My car is a 2004 BMW318i E46.

Thank you.

With a Samsung based ROM you don't need the app. It has rSAP already built in.
Do you have a SAP SnapIn for your BMW?

I checked again, it seems E46 does not support rSAP. Only newer BMW have the GSM SnapIn Adapter that supports rSAP. So my app will not help you. Additionally the Galaxy S II has rSAP built in so my app won't change anything. Sorry.

Phonebook is a completely different story...

So what is my problem exactly? My previous E71 transferred the names without any problems.

I cannot tell you. As I see it the car makers test(ed) with Nokia or a few other phones and the phone makers test against the specification or whatever car they find. Both don't necessarily always...
