I have connected up to my laptop and can not find any folder called rSap at all, i have expanded all folders and it's just not there :-( I also made sure that hidden files and folders are displayed too.

Please try OI File Explorer, free from Google Store. Samsung "My Files" does not show the folder.

Sorry for the delay getting back to you, I have downloaded the OI file manager and installed it as you said. Still there is no rSap folder to be found on the phone at all.

Did you start a "main" log? The folder gets created as soon as you start a log. It should be existing in the first screen of OI File Manager.

Ah, that explains everything...

Start the rSAP app, choose "Settings" (tool symbol), check "Create log (main)"/"Create log (HCI)" and go back to main screen. Best would be to do a fresh pairing now, so I see the whole communication. After the connection failed go back to settings and uncheck both boxes. Now look for the files in folder ".rsap" and mail them to me.

When i attempt to run the app i get a message saying 'your phone must be rooted to run this app'. There is no settings (tool symbol) available. Am i running the correct app? I downloaded the Bluetooth Sim |Access Install app, ( the free one, until i get that to work and will then buy the full version)

You did the zip installation? Then you need to run the "Bluetooth SIM Access (Trial)".
