Bluetooth.apk

Post by Pluto » Mon Nov 14, 2011 10:19 pm

Guten Tag

HTC Desire S
S-OFF
Android-Version 2.3.5
HTC Sense 3.0
Software-Nummer Saga 3D by proxuser
VW RNS 510 Premium

Looks like/Sieht so aus wie viewtopic.php?f=33&t=227

I'll have to do further investigations how Nokia phones transfer the contact data to the earlier VW Premium UHV. It looks like they don't use PBAP.

Hallo

I have a HTC Wildfire S Marvel...Android: 2.3.3/ HTC Sense 2.1
Bootloader is unlocked.
I tryed rsap with some diffrend ROM'S (Cyanogenmod 7, JikantaruROM v1.1 Euro, SALSA PORT 101 and of course the stock)
The installation works fine. SuperUser ask to allow and installing works like in description.
But I still have this message: Nicht verbunden, SDP Record nicht gefixt.
I replaced the Bluetooth.apk several times with Root Explorer. Have no fault message after reboot but my Phone book will not send to my cars FSE.
I tryed some other cell phones just to make sure there is nothing wrong in the BMW FSE.

Someone any idea what I do wrong. By the way, my Phone is still s_on. Only the Bootloader is open.

Do I need a XTC Clip, a new Cell or a new Car???

You tried rSAP or PBAP? With BMW you only need rSAP when you have the GSM SnapIn Adapter!

When you have problems with phone book transfer you should try CyanogenMod 7.1 with the Bluetooth.apk available here: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=221. If that still does not help you may use the rSAP trial version to record a HCI log and send it to me. I'm always interested in information how different cars access the phonebook! What BMW is it?

I will send first the HCI log record before I go on CynagonMod 7.1
I be also interested what the fault is.

PBAP = Phone Book Access Protocol. Please start the HCI log before you enter the car.

I have my cell running under Cyanogen Mod 7.1 (7.1.0-BETA1-marvel-KANG)
Before paring with the car device I turned HCI log on.
Hope this can help for fault search.

Hello!

And thanks for the rSAP app! I have a question: Do I need any special software to install your update of the PBAP?
I'm having trouble from the CMD in Win7. My phone is Galaxy s2 4.0.3

Best regards

Stek :D

The problems are:
- you have to mount the "system" partition writable
- you have to be "root" to copy/rename files on system partition

The easiest way to install is probably using "Root Explorer". The command line option may not work well with the rooted Samsung ROM because adb remount may not work.

Some day I'll create an installer...
