App crash

Post by htc1977 » Thu Oct 31, 2013 11:16 am

I'm running CyanogenMod 10.1.3 with Android 4.2.2 and everytime I try to connect my Galaxy Nexus to my Audi MMI via rSAP this App crashes on the phone. :-(
Do I have to uninstall the systemfiles with rSAP installation app? I can't find any button to install or uninstall that library which was needed for pairing, so I'm not sure what to do to get rSAP work again.

The rSAP app crashes? Which version do you use? Please update app and installer to the latest available from Play Store and run the installer to update the system files. Be sure to uninstall the patched bluetooth.default.so! This is no longer necessary.

If the crash still happens please create a log with CatLog.

I have the latest version running, but I can't find the button to install and/or uninstall the patched bluetooth.default.so anymore, so I don't know how to uninstall this patched version and I even don't know if my phone is using this one as well.
What is CatLog? Is there any advice how to create a full log in this forum?

If you don't see the button in the installer you no longer have the lib installed.
CatLog is an app from Play Store.

Is the app still crashing?

Today, I reinstalled the systemfiles via the rSAP Installtion App, rebooted my phone and repaired it to my Audi MMI.
After trying to connect both sides via rSAP the App crashed again.
I installed CatLog, now what do I have to do next?

Run CatLog, start the logging and reproduce the crash. Then stop logging and mail the log file to admin at ...

Are you sure rSAP crashes, or is it maybe another app, maybe "Bluetooth"? Or is simply the connection aborted?

Do you have some rSAP plugin installed? This may be the cause of the crash.

I have the SMS-PlugIn installed.
But I don't know how to uninstall it.

Edit:
I deinstalled the SMS plugin using Titanium Backup and will test the connection again.

Locate it in the Android app list and uninstall it like any "normal" app.

If it works without the plugin please try to create a log of the system startup. Either immediately start CatLog and save the log or attach the phone to a PC with "adb" running and do "adb logcat > logfile.txt" on the PC.
