First of all: don't post logs in the forum. They may contain private data. Simply mail them to me.

The fix will no longer work with Android 4.3. A VW should not need it anyway. Every Android phone should be recognized as soon as my app is running! Please check if my app shows an error message. Maybe it helps to switch off/on Bluetooth once. And remember to set the phone to Bluetooth visible before starting the search in the car.

Okay won't do it again.

I have allready tried all your suggestions on my own but none of them worked neither has your app showed an error - sorry.
And the bluetooth was of course visible otherwise the car wouldn't have seen the hfp and a2dp profiles, i tried
a fresh pairing of car and nexus.

I've retried it several times.
I even reset the cars infotainment system
and rebooted the phone.
But the car still refuses to see the rSAP profile.
So far i have only installed the rSAP files and none of the additional tweaks or the other library.
Any suggestions/Hints?

Did you have the bluetooth.defaullt.so installed when you used 4.2.2? Maybe VW changed the profile discovery with the new Premium phone.

Edit:

No i'm sorry. I don't think i have used this fix.
(i confused it with the phonebook fix viewtopic.php?f=33&t=221)
I didn't have 4.2.2 on my Nexus as it was crap (terrible Bluetooth & WLAN) i stuck to 4.1.2 and that worked just fine with your app and the Golf.

Android 4.1 had a completely different Bluetooth stack with very little (no?) problems. Especially it was possible to create the "full" SDP record - see also http://www.android-rsap.com/compatibility.html

So far all VW Premiums were happy with the simple SDP record, maybe this changed with the new Premium phone. This would be a major step back :(

Can you please try to create a HCI log of a fresh pairing and mail it to me?

I checked your logs and the good news is, that the 2014 VW Premium still only seems to require the "simple" SDP, so you won't need the bluetooth.default.so patch.

The bad news is that your phone does not tell the car that it supports rSAP. I don't have any idea why, because the car should recognize rSAP as soon as my app is running.

I'm going to reflash my Galaxy Nexus and see if I can reproduce this problem.

I did a clean flash of 4.3, ran the installer and did only install the system files and then installed my app and everything works fine for me. I don't know what may go wrong on your phone.

I looked at your first log again. It looks like something basic fails in the Bluetooth stack. Did you perhaps mess up the bluetooth.default.so? Please make sure you have the original file in /system/lib/hw.

After your discoveries i quickly( it never goes quick if you just quickly want to test something :D ) backuped my phone
and made a clean android 4.3 flash including wiping userdata etc.
Then i installed TeamWin Recovery and SuperSu. Afterwards i only installed the system files and your app and went out
to the car. I reset the phonepart of the multimediasystem and tryied to pair them... same result as before no rSAP
As soon as i have my mail program up and a file manager i will mail you the new logs, maybe they contain some new/helpfull information?!
