Desire looses APN

Post by Gundeline » Wed Oct 10, 2012 7:03 pm

Hello all,

I tried to connect the HTC Desire with rSAP to our Skoda Superb II. Didn't work with Sense. I installed CyanogenMod 7.2.0.1 bravo. Now the rSAP app works perfect. But every two or three days the phone looses the default APNs --> no internet or sms. Restart or Flight modus brings default APNs back.
I am pretty sure the rSAP app is the reason for it. Thought the problem occurs when I stop bluetooth manually to save energy. But running bluetooth 24/7 the cell phone also looses APN data sporadically.

I would be very happy for support. Thanks.

It's rather the other way around: if you don't have network access the APN list is empty. It seems your phone does not properly return to normal mode after an rSAP connection. I don't know that problem with the HTC Desire so it must be something special with your configuration.

You can try this plugin: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=191&p=1066#p1013. It briefly enables and disables airplane mode after rSAP disconnects.
