Evervolv Turba

Post by Trigan » Mon Nov 26, 2012 6:58 pm

Hello,
unfortunately following combination doesn´t work at the moment:

HTC Desire
Rom: Jelly Bean: Evervolv Turba 3.1.0p1 (works fine on my old Desire)

Audi A6 (4G, latest Model two months old) with MMI® Navigation plus mit MMI touch®, Bluetooth-Autotelefon online

I bought full rSAP version and had therefore enough time for tests.

After starting rSAP I got feedback that Desire is connected with my Audi A6 but SIM access fail.

Any ideas how this probleme can be solved?

Thank´s in advance

Did you use the new "generic" system files? They will most probably not work on a HTC Desire!

I'll move this to "HTC Desire" forum later.

Thank´s for prompt reply.

How can I check which system files are in use?

Which system files are the best, where can I get them from and how should I install them?

Sorry for all questions but your support is very appriciated.

If you run the rSAP installer app on a HTC phone you have to decide which variant you like to install. If you have an older installer the "native" files are installed. Perhaps you did not run the installer at all?

Thank´s again for prompt reply.

The rSAP installer (latest version) was already installed but that was my mistake with generic files.

Now I selected native files and I reached the next level of this journey to link Handy and car  .

Now I get following information on my Desire:

Bluetooth Status: Connected Audi MMI xxx

SIM Status: SIM Zugriff starten...

But unfortunately car display shows me that the connection doesn´t work.

Further proposals to solve this issue?

The app does not show "connected" after a while? You have the good ol' Desire and not a Desire S, X or whatever? Please mail me a "main" and "radio" log of a connection attempt.

Edit: I suspect this ROM uses a special RIL lib that does not support rSAP...

Correct, the app does not show "connected" after a while. I have the good old Desire.

Maybe a stupid question but how can I sent only you "main" and "radio" log and what data are in this log?

During my test I made following observation:

Desire shows me a very good signal quality with my mobile provider.
Starting rSAP
Starting MMI in my Audi
After a few seconds I god the information below "Bluetooth Status" that Desire and Audi are connected.
After some additional seconds I got the information below "SIM Status" "SIM Zugriff starten..."
The next message is from my car that the connection doesn´t work as mentioned in my last post.
After this I have no connection with my mobile provider and Desire shows "Flugmodus ist An"
To get connectivity with my mobile provider I have to reboot my mobile.

Maybe a helpful information for you.

If I find the time I'll test this ROM on my Desire. This will probably be faster than analyzing your logs.

I installed the ROM and have the same problems. So it is not an installation problem. It looks to me like the RIL lib was taken from a different phone. I'll let you know if I find out more details.
