Either it is updated automatically "over the air" (OTA) or you install Samsung "Kies" software on your PC and connect your phone to your PC. Before system updates (especially OTA) work you have to restore as much of the delivery state as possible, e.g. uninstall rSAP system files, uninstall Bluetooth.apk, sometimes flash stock kernel, etc. I'm not an expert in all the details so check elsewhere if you have trouble updating, e.g. XDA developers.

Hallo,
I have new ROM IMM76D.I9300XXBLG8.
Andromedar told, that this bulid works with native rsap of Samsung.
I tried to pair to my Audi Bluetooth and the "Audi UHV" is not listed at all.
My S3 is not rooted. So is there a way to pair it to the Audi UHV?

EDIT: It seems to be solved. After several sessions of searching for Audi UHV now it was displayed. Then first time pairing failes, but second time it worked!

I am not sure if it is because I installed the rSAP-trial (with mistake) or because of native rsap. But I stopped the rSAP-trial and paired again. It worked again. So it seems to work. I will have a look at it later on.
Thanks!

it works in vw cc 09 premium.
Just one thing - do you really everytime have to enter SIM pin code when connecting to car? maybe there is an option do not ask :)
I have some experience with nokia n96: i have paired (16 digit code) and entered SIM pin only once. If bluetooth in the phone is switched on, everytime I switch ignition it connects automatically.
Using Samsung unfortunately everytime asks to enter SIM pin.

There should be an option to store the pin in the car. In my 2011 Golf I can choose to store the pin when confirming the 4 digits.

Yes, thats really confusing. There is a OK and a SAVE.
If you choose OK the VW Premium will ask your PIN every time.
Save is the way to go.

My phones bugging me for another update but of course because I'm rooted I need to wait till I'm near a computer or shell out for mobile Odin as the ota updates don't work when rooted in my experience. I'm hoping that the update will make it work properly (see "no network" post). Ill be quite excited if it does and will still want the android-rsap app with dun plugin as I don't believe the stock functionality will allow me network access.

Hi all,
I can confirm that the new firmware of my DTM (T-Mobile Deutschland) branded S3 works fine (both rsap and phonebook) with my VW Passat FSE Premium (2010).

If you don't get an over-the-air update install Kies on you PC and connect you phone with it. Kies will suggest an update if one is available.
