Hello,
In the advanced settings there is a section "Character Encoding".
Is it the encoding on the phone or on the receiving device?
Thanks.
Question about settings
Re: Question about settings
It's the encoding of the phone, the sending device.
So far I only heard that it makes a difference for Volvo cars. The standard encoding is UTF-8.

Re: Question about settings
Good.
Then, what encoding is sent to the receiver?
I have a phone Xiaomi Readmi 4 pro.
The receiver - car receiver Daewoo AGC-0071RF in the car Nissan X-Trail T31.
Car radio Daewoo AGC-0071RF works well with Apple iPhone (encoding MacCyrilic) phones.
So your program can help me?

Re: Question about settings
Simply try, you cannot break anything. After making a change make sure the car stereo re-reads the phonebook. Check the "last connected" time or check the log file of the app. You will have to switch off and on ignition of the car to force the re-read, maybe even remove and redo the Bluetooth pairing.
