Xtreamer Q (Media Tek)

Post by smartbuy » Mon May 05, 2014 9:37 pm

Hi!

I have successfully tested Xtreamer Q (http://xtreamermobile.com/q/).
It is working with MB SAP v4 (A 212 906 09 02).
I can make and receive calls and receive SMSs.

The only thing not working is phone-book... :(

My phonebook app is sadly not working on the MediaTek phones. Maybe I can fix that, but currently I don't know what's going wrong in my test version.

Did the phone ask for phonebook permission? If not, maybe you have to enable PBAP somewhere in the Bluetooth settings?

Hi!

No it does not ask anything.. It just transfers contacts from SIM (the four that mobile operator puts there)...

I can't find any advanced BT settings, I am using MIUI ROM:

The SAP V4 should support the Phonebook Access Profile (PBAP). When the car tries to connect the first time, you have to allow access to the phonebook. This is usually a notification on the phone, maybe you did not notice it?
