I already installed Android 6.0.1 and now it doesn't work. :? Is there a way to get it done without installing Android 4.4.4 first?

Help is very much appreciated!

Only if you find boot.img file for 6.0.1 with diag port enabled. Otherwise no.

Flash Franco Kernel (http://forum.xda-developers.com/google- ... 3-t2508284). This is probably the easiset way to enable the diag port on a Nexus 5.

Installed 4.4.4 finally.

But...

magna413 wrote:3) Configure DIAG mode via this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google- ... 0-t2928561 - PS only the DIAG part, no need for LTE stuff.

What steps need to be done from the guide above? When I start and start EFS Explorer I get a message that file subsystem 62 is not supported and there is no path /nv/ and so on. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for helping me out.

Did you root it?
Then did you flash the boot.img
http://fs1.d-h.st/download/00147/mmb/4. ... g_BOOT.img

Then in computer you have to give these commands via command prompt.

Code: Select all
adb shell
su
setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb

Now you should check device manager for COM port and select it in QPST.

The diag channel is also contained in the 6.0.1 stock kernel, it only has to be activated. The installer app does that automatically!

There is no need to flash a different kernel or the 4.4.4 firmware!

Does that mean the Z5 Compact now also works or do you need a test for it because it is another device?
