Poor network signal

Post by CarlesB » Mon Jan 07, 2013 9:08 pm

Hi,

I'm just being to install the RSAP application and even the phonebook is correctly transferred to the VW premium BT, I have different network signal between phone and car bT.

The network signal in the car BT is poor vs phone. Can some one help me?

Thanks

Perhaps your antenna in the car is disconnected? Receiption is not influenced by rSAP.

The fact is that when I've tried the trial version, it worked fine, paired signal with the phone and it has been possible to make a call.

Since I've installed the app, then I've lost the signal and even worst, after switching off the car BT, I have to reset the phone in order to get network signal.

Any clue that can help me?

The app does not (yet?) work on the I8190. Sometimes it helps to read the other posts in this forum!

Not the answer I was expecting but very clear.

Then I will have to wait for the 100% functionality of your app for the S3 mini, before get conclussions if the money expent was worth it.

I will then follow the forum for news.

Thanks,

Is it true that if you use the trial version, the S3 mini does not need to be rebooted after disconnecting from RSAP?

No. The trial version works the same as the full version. It must have been by chance that it worked with the trial version and didn't with the full version.

If you set the phone to GSM mode it reconnects fine after an rSAP connection. But it's not really an option to slow down the phone's mobile network speed for rSAP. See more in the parallel thread viewtopic.php?f=51&t=603.

That's right, I can't ensure that with trial version don't need to reboot.

I've only noticed that with trial version my network signal was fine.

Any forecast for the 100% functionality?

No. I cannot tell when and if I get it running. I hope I'll receive my phone soon, so I can try to make it work. I'vl let you know if there are any news.
