Unsure it's working stable?

Post by go4java » Sat Jun 08, 2013 2:36 pm

I've the SGS3 Mini with a Congstar (Telekom-D1) card.
I've been following the install guide:
1.) root
2.) Bluetooth SIM Access Install
3.) Bluetooth SIM Access (Trial)
Car is a VW Golf V Plus with Premium.
After a couple of searches and connects, it seemed to be connected via bluetooth and the SIM card seemed to be found (that's what the cockpit said).
Then it was trying to read the SIM but it gave the message "Card not possible or so...".
Not sure if I should spend EUR 9,- if its not working stable and intuitive.

First of all: if it does not work with the trial version it will not work with the full version! That's why the trial version exists.

What do you mean by "try to read the SIM"? Can you please mail me a "main" log?

The S3 mini has some problems with some firmware versions. Recently I upgraded mine to XXAMD3 and this version always shows an error after rSAP connection ended. The phone works like it should, but you have to confirm the message which is annoying. So if you have a working configuration on an S3 mini don't always go for the latest update. rSAP may get worse...
