Hi there,
I just got the shipping notification for my Nexus5. Are there already any plans or comments if and by when this device and Android 4.4 will be supported? rSAP would be my only reason to unlock and root my stock device, so I'm wondering if I should go ahead with this directly after unboxing (taking the loss of not getting OTA updates anymore..).
Regards
Jens
Nexus 5, 4.4 Support?
Re: Nexus 5, 4.4 Support?
I can tell you as soon as I have mine, maybe next week
If you root a Nexus you still get OTA updates! You only should keep the stock recovery or reinstall it after rooting. Sometimes it also helps to manually unroot the phone before running the update. And don't forget to uninstall the rSAP system files!

okay, maybe I'll try this, this time.. I've never thought it was only caused by the recovery? thanks for the feedbackadmin wrote:If you root a Nexus you still get OTA updates!
