Status for Android L (aka Android 5.x)?

Hallo,

i'm using cyanogenmog 12 on Nexus 4. Cause of your fix in January the phone works in "premium" mode using rsap. Poorely it seems that there are different changes belonging to Bluetooth etc. yesterday. You can see the changes at the developer side (nightly Version 18.02.2015). So if i start the Bluetooth SIM Acces Install tool i always get the message, that my Prozess "Bluetooth-Freigabe" has crashed. You see, i'm german. There is no way for the Moment to get in working. After updating to a new nightly Version you also have to update System files of rsap. Hoping you will find a solution, cause i love this app.

Best
Ruediger

Just made an update to nightly 19.02.2015. There are new changes in Bluetooth-behavior. In my case I have to deinstall and reinstall the Sysem files each time I start my Phone. After this I get full rsap Access. Otherwise I'll get a Crash. Not really a good solution, but a way to get working again. Hope there will be a solution for the Problem.

I rather guess these are problems of the ROM. Especially CyanogenMod seems to make the Bluetooth stack worse sometimes. A crash of "Bluetooth Freigabe" is a crash of the Bluetooth stack.

I'll check if I can reproduce the problem with the reinstallation of the system files.

Update: the problem lies in my Bluetooth driver extension. Please delete the file /system/lib/hw/bluetooth.msm8960.so. This may cause problems with some car kits, see the Bluetooth section here: http://www.android-rsap.com/compatibili ... #bluetooth

I'll try to find out why this happens on the N4, but not on the N5.

This seem to be the solution. Delating the file /System/lib/hw/Bluetooth.msm8960.so solves the Problem that the Mobile crashes each time you restart it. I hope there are no disadvantages in deleting this file.

After each update of cyanogenmod 12 on my Nexus 4 I've to delete the file again, because it was installed by cyanogenmod each time you update. Not a big problem, but good to know.

It looks like a recent change in the CM12 nightlies fixed the problem.

If anyone finds out which change caused the problem, please let me know. I could not find any suspicious change in the android_external_bluetooth_bluedroid repository. Maybe it was somewhere else.
