Nexus 4 can not connect

Post by bodos » Wed Jul 24, 2013 1:47 pm

Hi, admin.
I have a problem with my phone.
I'm trying to connect my nexus (Android 4.2.2) to VW UHV PREM . My car finds phone and try to establish connection, but after I entered 16-digit pin-code it is still waiting. On phone I can see, that rSAP is connected, but after 1 minute I see message on MFA: "Can not connect". My HTC ONE V android 4.0.3 connects and works fine, without problems.
Maybe it is problem with android 4.2.2 ? (Sorry for my English)

Did you already check the Bluetooth section in the FAQ http://www.android-rsap.com/faq.html?

It may be a problem with the phonebook, but it may also be a basic problem. Do you have a SIM PIN active and did the car ask for it? You may also mail me a "main" log so I can try to find out what happens.

This looks like the SIM card doesn't allow any access at all. Don't ask me why it doesn't work for all cards you tried.

Another user reported that it worked for him after the update to Android 4.3. Maybe LG changed something in the radio software. Note that you need a new SuperSU/Superuser version to successfully root 4.3!

Hi.
I have exactly the same problem, when I try to connect to my Skoda premium (with trial version of your app). I'm using Android 4.2.2. with cutted SIM card, which I've used on my previous phone (Samsung with factory supported rSAP). What's your advice? Should I get myself a new (uncuted) SIM card?

Please mail me a "main" log. Perhaps you have a different problem.

It's surely not because you cut out your card because it obviously works in normal phone mode.

This also looks like an incompatible SIM card. I don't know why this happens with some cards, but not with others. You may try to get a different card. If your current one was a full size SIM and the new one is a micro SIM it is maybe from a different manufacturer, so there is a chance it works.

I have to confirm that after I've changed the SIM card, rSAP iz working fine. I've also updated to Android 4.3.

My previous phone HTC Wildfire connects and works fine with all sim cards. I sent you main log - help me please if it possible. In my phone already installed rSAP V2.4.1 and Bluetooth Phonebook V1.1.5
