What exactly happens? Does the installation work? Connet/disconnect?

I checked it: the Xperia P has a different processor: ST Ericsson Ux500. This is also true for the Xperia U, Sola and Go. So these are not compatible with my app.

The interface to the SIM card is not documented or standardized in Android, nearly every phone uses it's own implementation. So it's always a lot of work disassembling lots of code and it's not sure I can find a way to access the SIM card at all. For some phones I succeeded partly by pure luck, partly by reengineering existing rSAP interfaces (Samsung).
