HTC ONE MINI (M4)

Post by arnodug » Mon Nov 04, 2013 1:16 pm

Hello

There is no HTC ONE Mini topic yet so I post here ;)

Here is my config :
- VW Passat CC 2009 with premium and RNS 510 system
- HTC ONE Mini (M4) rooted with Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5. (The phone has the file /system/lib/libril-qc-qmi-1.so)
- Generic rSAP system files installed
- rSAP trial installed
- The phone and the car connect but for only 2 seconds ( see here : http://youtu.be/GOhe8f-n_Zw)
I've tried to update to the HTC system files but it didn't work, so I updated back to generic files.
I've rebooted the phone several times, same issue.
Did I miss something ?

I checked your logs, they don't look bad. Maybe the phonebook transfer aborts the connection? Check if my phonebook app (trial) helps.

Hi, its working with my htc one mini. I use the phonebook app as well to void the disconnection (connects only for 2 sec) problem as it was described by arnodug.
But I have still several smaller bugs with this configuration:

- the phonebook app is mixing up the numbers of my contact records. For example: In the phone a number is saved as 01712949923 but in the car (RNS 510 with PFSE) the number is displayed as 01712949933. There is a mix a the second to last digit.
- If I turn off the car I have to log in again with my pin code at the phone to use. Very annoying!
- If I want to log on again the rsap app tells me that the sim status is not installed with the right libraries. So I have to use the rsap installation app first.

Would be nice to get some help with this topics. Thanks.

greeting

Boris

The modified digit in the phone numbers is a "feature" of the phonebook trial version. The full version transfers the correct numbers. If you install the full version be sure to uninstall the trial version!

Your third problem may be caused by the write protection of the system partition in the HTC firmware. It seems the installer can write the necessary files, but they simply disappear after some time and you have to reinstall them. Please use the zip installation from here: viewtopic.php?f=58&t=817. I hope the second problem is also caused by this, if not please let me know.

Hello,

your zip installation file is working now. I installed it with the recovery. Now the Problems with the Sim Card are solved. Thank you very much!
The Phonebook problem still exists. Maybe I have to delete the profil on the PFSE first and connect new to delete the old entries. I keep you updated.

Can you do me a favour and mail a "main" log of a connection to admin@...? Other users have problems with their One MIni, and I like to find out why it doesn't work for them, but works for you. Thanks.
