Personally i think it's not important to create a vpn connection at all. Let's say that car connects to internet and shares the connection over BT. So what we really need is to (most important) connect the car to the internet over gprs (for 3g it should work the same way). When the connection would be established - the second step is to create a capability (for phone) to use bt internet connection (like old windows mobile pda's).
An bluevpn app is application that creates a tunnel between phone and car module. This tunnel uses classic NAT and probably only port 80 is open so only http traffic can come through. It would be great to make an app that can connect to bluetooth gateway, as older phones do by nature
And ofc with no root needed
