I'm getting hit now with the battery drain by mobile standby

Is it possible / easy to flash back to 4.4.2 ?

On another note - admin - what is the handset you recommend most for rsap support?

I hope admin won't mind:

Let the N5 settle and learn, most people report that the drain stops by itself after some days/charges on 4.4.3.

I guess the only sure pick is a phone which has rSAP officially supported in it's stock ROM, i.e. Samsung. Apart from the infamous 4.0 update for the Galaxy S II, no Samsung phone ever lost rSAP support after a firmware update. E.g. the LG G2 is no sure bet because rSAP is not officially supported.

The next best guess is a currently compatible phone where there are no more firmware updates to be expected :?

I still don't have a solution for rSAP with the new radio software. My current hope is that I simply didn't obey the specification, how the rSAP functions should be called (no wonder, since I don't have any specification  ). Maybe the old radio accepted the "sloppy" programming, but the new one doesn't? One thing I'm quite sure of: if I can make it work with the new Nexus 5 radio, it will also work with the Motorola Moto G...

Since it works with the old radio something must have changed inside the radio software. But how to find out? In the meantime I'm at least able to load this into IDA, but it's a 45 MB binary for an unknown CPU (at least for me)
The IDA database has more than 500 MB and IDA is slow as a snail and it seems it crashes frequently. Doesn't look good...

Hope this IDA module could help:

Thanks. I already found that IDA module. The assembler code is completely strange to read
I guess it will take months for me to understand how the radio software works (I'm not so young anymore...), so I first will try other things.

Has anyone already tried the new radio from 4.4.4?

I have manually updated my Nexus 5 to 4.4.4 and it still doesn't work.

What a pity. I was so much hoping that the update would solve the problem.

@AJ396: are you sure that the radio was also updated? I read that the update to 4.4.4 also includes a radio update.

Bye

The bad: Flashed factory images. Same result. 4.4.4 does not work seither...
The good: 4.4.4 works as far i see with 4.4.2 radio as well...
