I checked 5.1 and it does work - with the old 1.0.25.0.23 baseband software.

Earlier I stated that it does not work - I checked that with a buggy working version  Sorry...

Is the Nexus 5 ok with the old baseband? Same signal and battery performance?

I'm a noob and my phone is not rooted yet. Just bought a Porsche so my Nexus 5 needs rSAP.
Please help me.

Can some of you please "deliver" a complete package with Android 5.1 and the old working baseband?

Thanks in advance!

I cannot tell you much about your questions since I don't use a Nexus 5 daily. I don't think there is a difference in power consumption or receiption.

But I can tell you that all Porsches with the car phone option should support rSAP and Handsfree. Older cars (2008/9) which initially didn't support Handsfree can get support with an update from your Porsche service. So if you are happy with the inferior receiption quality you don't need to root your phone.
