AVRCP issue with LineageOS 7.1.2 lately?

I have the latest rSAP 3.0.5 version under suspect to cause some issues streaming music via a2dp to BT speakers / headset?!

I'm running my Note 3 (SM-N9005) with LineageOS 7.1.2 for a few month, now.
But since a few weeks I seem to have the issue that I can't pause / skip / ff / start the playback with my BT devices after I activated the rSAP driver.
The commands reaches the phone as the menu and back button area on the phone flashed up for a few seconds, while pressing the knob on the e.g. headset, but has no action.

Due to my limited testing so far disabling the driver once activated doesn't help, but I have re-flash the LineageOS image via TWRP.

I think it is not very likely that rSAP causes such issues. Bluetooth profiles are quite independent from each other so one profile usually cannot influence another. If it doesn't help to uninstall the rSAP app this also suggests that it's a different problem.
