No access to contacts

I have a samsung galaxy s7 edge on android 8.0.0
Just picked up a Chevy equinox 2010 with basic infotainment. No mylink.

I am able to connect to bluetooth with issue but cannot voice dial. I have the app and it seems it has connected. I've attached the screenshot.

I still am unable to access my contacts. In my bluetooth setting I only have the option of call audio. My contacts are all set to save on the phone and not sim card.
