According to the various discussion forum, S10 single and S10 dual share the same firmware. I found that there are some props (ro.multisim.simslotcount=2 and ro.vendor.multisim.simslotcount=2) which are read from vendor partition (/mnt/vendor/efs/factory.prop). If I change these values and these values imported in /system/build.prop, after reboot Android show window with message that phone was switched to single SIM version and requires reboot to update its configuration. There is no option to skip reboot and you cannot interact with android. After accepting reboot, phone again think that it is dual sim and the content of these files states simslotcount=2 again. It seems that these files are replaced from some internal file during update of configuration. Maybe Android Pie is somehow generic and use its configuration based on the hardware.

Can you please check where the libsec-ril.so is located on your S10: /system/lib64/libsec-ril.so or /system/vendor/lib64/libsec-ril.so? Or only /vendor/lib64/libsec-ril.so?

There is present /system/vendor/lib64/libsec-ril.so with size 3682104 Bytes from 31.12.08 16:00:00 . It seems that /system/vendor is symlink to /vendor.

Then it looks like the installer app picks the right library, but for some reason my library crashes...

I tested the S9 with Android 8.0, maybe there is some problem with 9.0? I'll try...

Update: It does not work with Android 9.0.

Are you able to make it working with Android 9?

I hope so... So far I don't know what happens. And I hope that a fix will also work for the S10.
