CP1251 (Windows-1251) is not a transliteration, but coding of characters. The difference is: transliteration changes the content of the text, while different codings always transfer the same text, but use different bytes.

"Windows-1251" is already selectable in the extended options (instead of the default "UTF-8").

PLEASE add to "Final convertation" convert to utf-16 and the head unit (daewoo agc-0070rf) of my nissan at last will see Cyrillics.

I sent you a test version which is able to encode the whole VCARDs in UTF-16. Set it in "Character Encoding" in advanced options.

How did you find out the device needs UTF-16? Is it documented somewhere?

Thank you my friend but unfortunately it hasn't worked, my radio still shows abracadabra instead of Cyrillics.

About utf-16 I have learned from this article https://www.drive2.ru/l/2089275/. The truth this post was about mp3 tags.

By the way people write that from iPhones this model of radio sees Cyrillics

Hello. Still need utf-16 for the head unit (daewoo agc-0071rf) of my nissan. Cyrillic doesn't work with iso-8859-5 and windows-1251.

Why do you think UTF-16 should help? This is so far off the specification that I don't think anybody supports it.

because the use of such encoding in the mp3tag program creates the correct names of mp3 tracks from a USB card

I understand. But UTF-16 is officially specified for mp3 tags, while it is not specified for the VCard format used in the phone book transfer.
