Cant find the Zip anywhere dont think it is creating it on 5X? Can you post it for the latest Install App as can only find a old 2.4 version.

Thanks

Simply download from Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... sapinstall.
If you choose recovery installation and don't reboot, the zip file should be created in the USB storage.

It is not creating the Zip in USB storage or anywhere else I can find.

Hmm... Maybe there is another hurdle for writing to internal memory in Marshmallow? I'll have to check...

Installation without recovery really doesn't work? I remember the Nexus 5 worked fine with Marshmallow. Why should Google add write protection to the Nexus 5X, but not to the Nexus 5?

Think it may have to do with the forced encryption on the 5X?

If you can post the Zip for the recovery method I will try to manually install via TWRP which can decrypt and write to any of the partions.

The rooting of the 5X is a bit of a pain compared to others also because of the way encryption and security now works.

I assume all of this also goes for the 6P.

I'll try to create a zip this evening. Can I send it to your msn mail address?

Yep that will be great thanks. I will post the results.

FYI the builtin rSAP serverice is called "SapService" and called within "Bluetooth Share"

I thought about it once more: my app won't run without root. SELinux prevents my app from communicating with the system files. The best solution for this problem is to use SuperSU. The installer will create a startup script to allow the access. With any other superuser app my app will have to disable SELinux until the connection is established.

So a zip-only install will not work.

The phone is rooted and I am using SuperSU. It's just the installer app seems to be having problems replacing the libs while Android is running.

There seems to be a bug in the zip file creation, I also cannot generate one on my 64 bit phone and on my Nexus 5
I'll fix that tomorrow.
