Hi all, I have very good Christmas news regarding rSAP on dual-SIM Samsung S10 Exynos version (model SM-G973F). If you are using just one SIM card which is inserted in your phone SIM slot 1, then after upgrading to the latest Android (version 10) rSAP is working like on older single SIM Samsung models. Tested in multiple VW cars with their Discover multimedia systems. All you need is upgrade your Android (the latest official version, no root needed), remove pairing information both in your smartphone and in the car, pair it again and enable rSAP in your car infotainment system (known as Business connection in VW cars). I would expect that it will work in all cars like Audi, Skoda and others as well.

If you have Snapdragon version of dual-SIM Samsung S10 (model SM-G973U) it is still not working.

Hi all. Although S10+ is working fine with rSAP , it has problem when phone leaves car. It cannot accept or make any phonecall! Also data are not working either. In screen, the reception indicator bar shows full signal so connected with provider. In order to operate normal again, I must reboot. Have any of you face the same problem? My car is an AUDI one. Looking in several Samsung forums, this is a problem appeared after Android 10 upgarde. It seems the SIM control doesn't return back to phone... Samsung knows this bug (according to complains) but hasn't release a fix so far. Any ideas or thoughts?

John

I can confirm that after the Android 10 update, UK model Galaxy S10 SM-G973F now has working rsap without need for root or installing of third party apps. Connects fine to a 2013 Audi A6 with MMI preparation High. All functions working, phone book, data connection, etc. Vehicle's WiFI hotspot uses data connection from the SIM Card to create a hotspot, which the phone can connect to to maintain internet while the car has taken over the SIM. All works exactly as it should.

Hello all,
have you any update about reboot need after phone disconnection from car? Did you check again? I still have problem with this. My bluetooth option is off for the moment... This is the only way to use the phone without reboot every time I leave my car...

I have no problems at all. It connects straight away to the car as soon as I get in, the 3G symbol appears on the satnav screen and Google satellite images stream no problem. Google Earth and Wikipedia data is fine and the car connects to My Audi online destinations. When I get out of the car the phone works as it should with no need to reboot or turn Bluetooth on and off. It's all faultless.
