Android basically supports rSAP since Android 6, so I thought Android automatically registers the full Bluetooth service data, as it already does for the phonebook profile. It looks like this no longer (?) works.
Hi, are there any updates on this thread? Meanwhile I've updated my phone. Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt. Maybe I have to install an older radio? Once it helped on Nexus 4. Is it worth a try? E.g. taking a stock radio of Andriod 6 hammerhead?
I released 3.0.5 of installer and rSAP app which should fix the problem. The root cause is the sloppy Android Bluetooth SDK. Now my app contains an equally ugly hack The radio software doesn't make a difference in this case.
I am still experiencing problems after upgrading my Galaxy S5 to LineageOS 14.1. to 11.4.2018 and 27.04.2018. I am using the weekly updates since about 6 months. Now the rsap-Installer-App closes immediatly after starting and I am unable to install the system files after the upgrade. That worked before on every update of the phone. What can I do still use RSAP?
