You use the standalone Bluetooth Phonebook app from Google store? Can you see a "Last connected to ..." in a "State" field of the Bluetooth Phonebook app?

Do you have a "Premium" phone in your car or the Bluetooth handsfree kit?

I have Bluetooth Phonebook v1.0.2 from google store

When I turn on the bluetooth on my SGS3 I can see State READY in both PBAP an IrMC

I can't see any last connected on the app screen.

I have a Premium kit.

Thanks!

If you don't have "last connected" entries on the app's screen the car never even tried to download the phonebook. This is strange. Can you force phonebook download in your car? I guess you already tried to remove all pairing from car and phone and start all over?

Yes, I never could get the phonebook in my car.

It keeps in 0 entries...

I've tried unpairing and pairing again even after a factory reset of both car and phone.

I've tried SIM contacts , telephone contacts, both contacts and kepps the same.

phone never ask me about sending pnonebook. It only asks me about pairing via bluetooth.

The problem is that phone never ask me about transfering contacts.

Thanks!!

PD. I tried rooting and using your trial aplication and results are the same.

Hello Again!!

My last try has been with a NOKIA 2760 and results are exactly the same than GSIII.

No way to get phonebook transmision.

Then I tried the same telephone with a 64k SIM in stead an 88k and voilá. Phonebook transmitted.

The problem now is to get a micro SIM vodafone 64k in Spain...

:o How does phonebook transfer depend on SIM card capacity (except of course SIM contacts)?

You got your Google contacts in the car after you changed your SIM card? That's really weird! The only explanation I can imagine is that the car first tries to read the SIM contacts, which fails, and then the car stops reading any contacts. Perhaps you have some strange entry on your SIM card?
