LG G2
Re: LG G2
Thanks for your answer.
Yes I tried it. Sometimes I do see the data connection symbol for a few seconds, but I immediately get a message somewhat like "ip negotiation failed...."
I filled in the access point "web.vodafone.de" at the DUN modem options in my car, anything else I have to take into consideration?
Thanks

Re: LG G2
I only remember that it was easy to connect, but that's already some time ago. The recent tests I made also failed, but I didn't further investigate. Maybe something changed in BlueDUN?
I can really recommend to switch the Premium box! Search for "3C8035730D" in eBay. Currently there is a seller from Portugal offering it for 155€+15€. It's really worth the money and it's replaced in 5 minutes without any coding.

There is native rsap support. Everything works just fine - fast pairing and connection, phonebook transfer, phonecalls and internet.
Thanks for posting this!irm wrote:RSAP does work out of the box! (Stock ROM 4.2.2 - D802, international version). 3G is also displayed.

Now also I can confirm that SAP works out of the box on LG G2 D802 (Android 4.2.2 - I really hope they continue the support in 4.4 which should be out any time now).
My only complain is that after the car is disconnected I'm forced to enter PIN again in the phone, which sucks. I disabled PIN requirement completely as the "workaround"...
Re: LG G2
This sounds exactly like the Xiaomi MI2... I guess both use the same SAP implementation made by Qualcomm. I also spotted the needed file in a Sony Xperia Z, but I guess Sony doesn't know what it is good for
So I'm quite sure that my app will work on the LG G2, in case someone is disappointed with the built-in rSAP

Re: LG G2 with 4.4.2 Kitkat?
Obviously LG now rolls out 4.4.2 Android for G2.
- Can anyone confirm that the native rSAP support is still onboard with this update?
- What is the situation wit the SIM-PIN now? jmf reported that the onboard rSAP works fine only with disabled PIN?
- Is this app here running on the G2?
Thanks for updating me.

Re: LG G2
First of all the radio or nav system does not matter when it comes to phone compatibility, it's only the phone control unit. The G2 should happily connect with all VW phones, even with older "Premium" phones, because it supports rSAP out of the box. All other VW phone options use the "Handsfree" profile which is supported by every modern smartphone, even the iPhone.
