Fix for QMI_ERR_ACCESS_DENIED
Fix for QMI_ERR_ACCESS_DENIED
In case you didn't read the news on http://www.android-rsap.com/news.html:
The problem with the blocked rSAP may be solved for all Qualcomm phones!
Use this installer file to create the necessary file in the baseband filesystem:
Use version 2.5.8+ from Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... sapinstall
If the first touch of "allow" shows an error message, simply try a second time. Be sure to reboot your phone after changing the setting!
Note: You don't need to prepare anything on the Nexus 5 with stock Marshmallow (except root)! Just run the app.
Note: On 64 bit phones a "test mode" must be set and the phone rebooted to successfully make the necessary change. Some phones don't keep the "test mode" setting after the reboot, so they are not compatible. This is true e.g. for the Oneplus Two.

The first version of the installatin instructions is here: http://www.android-rsap.com/41-support/ ... ccess.html
Currently only Moto G. For other phones the big challenge is to get the USB diag mode working.

Re: Fix for QMI_ERR_ACCESS_DENIED
I can confirm Nexus 5 with 6.0.1 is working with rSap!!!
What i did:
1) Install android 4.4.4
2) Root it
3) Configure DIAG mode via this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google- ... 0-t2928561 - PS only the DIAG part, no need for LTE stuff.
4) Follow this guide: http://www.android-rsap.com/41-support/ ... ccess.html
5) Install Android 6.0.1

Great to hear that!

Re: Fix for QMI_ERR_ACCESS_DENIED
Great news!
But how to fix EFS Explorer crash? I've tried to upload file by your instruction and have no luck.
And I saw your note

Re: Fix for QMI_ERR_ACCESS_DENIED
Which phone is it? Also 64 bit? So far I couldn't upload any file to a 64 bit phone. I tested it with Nexus 5X and OnePlus 2.
In the meantime I hope I gathered all necessary information to do the necessary changes with an app directly on the phone, without all the drivers trouble. Then I'll see if it is simply a bug in EFS Explorer or if it is some unknown, i.e. currently unsolvable problem. I'll publish a test version here as soon as I have something.
