Support Samsung phones
I am using the Samsung Galaxy Ace - is there any chance that also Samsung phones will be supported? The Samsung Galaxy includes rSAP support. It is a pitty that all other Smasung Android phones does not.
Re: Support Samsung phones
Sorry, not in the near future. I still have enough work with support of HTC phones. But if any, Samsung will be the next. I like the Nexus S...
EDIT: wait a few weeks for news, I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S from ebay...

Hi Martin ,
That's a greate news. I was almost losing hope to see my Nexus S working with my VW RSAP BT. Now just hope that Nexus S ril is compactible with Galaxy S.
If you get able to work on this, I'll be glad to test it
Greate job you have been doing!

Re: Support Samsung phones
Nexus S and Samsung Ace look promising. I just have to finish the HTC version. I guess it'll take a few weeks.

Do you know something about the new Galaxy S2 (i9100)? Is there also a RSAP Module intigrated? It would be wonderful if these fantastic phone can be used with my VW Premium whenever without phonebook; an in near future your app will complete this.

I found diffenent informations in the www about this. Sometimes they write ..."it supports RSAP" and ohterones wrote "...there is no RSAP for Android- also in Samsung".
What about Android 2.3(.1) - will this helpful or not for your app here?
Re: Support Samsung phones
Can't say anything about the I9100 before I can look at it. I can't even promise it will work on the Ace, Nexus S or others because I did not try, yet. All I can say is: it may work...
Re: Support Samsung phones
Yes, The Galaxy S 2 supports rSAP..I use it in my 2009 Audi (RNS-E MMI) and Porsche Carrera PCM 3.0.
The old restrictions as to only SIM entries being transferred are still there (no bit of software in the way doing a spoof for you of phone contacts but there is a simple 'export all contacts to SIM option)

I was able to transfer phone contacts from my Galaxy S (1) to the PCM 3, although there were some empty entries I could not explain. Perhaps you did not notice the notification icon for granting phonebook access on your phone? It shows up after all SIM contacts are transferred, which may take a few minutes.
